Dr. Bradley Francis D.C.
Calibrate Chiropractic was founded to offer a place where patients feel listened to, where the analysis is as important as the adjustment, and where the goal isn’t just temporary relief but long-term, sustainable change in how the body functions and adapts.
Dr. Brad Francis is a chiropractor and professor who cares less about “cracking everything” and more about making precise, meaningful changes that let the body heal efficiently. His path into chiropractic was shaped by both personal experience and years of technical training. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he gravitated toward the most detail-oriented approaches he could find—first in full-spine and pelvic work (especially the Gonstead system), and later in upper cervical chiropractic with a focus on the top two bones in the spine (especially the Blair method). Over time, he became known among students and colleagues for his careful analysis, clear explanations, and willingness to spend extra time helping people really understand what’s going on with their spine and nervous system.
Today, Dr. Francis splits his professional life between private practice and teaching chiropractic technique as a full-time faculty member at Life Chiropractic College West. In the classroom and the adjusting room, his approach is the same: be thorough, be honest, and do the least amount of specific intervention needed to create the most beneficial change. Clinically, he blends meticulous upper cervical work with specific full-spine and pelvic adjusting, using what he calls a “two foundations” model: some people primarily have a neurological foundation problem starting at the top of the spine (upper cervical), while others primarily have a structural foundation problem at the base (pelvis and lower spine). At Calibrate Chiropractic, his first goal is to figure out which foundation is primary for each person and then calibrate that area as precisely as possible.
He uses a combination of detailed examination, posture and movement assessment, and advanced imaging (including CBCT for the upper neck when appropriate) to map how someone’s spine is behaving in three dimensions. Instead of trying to “fix everything” in a single visit, Dr. Francis focuses on specific, gentle corrections (“calibrations”) and then gives the body time to adapt over the following days and beyond.
Outside of practice and teaching, he’s a husband and dad, which heavily influences how he designs the overall patient experience. He understands that people need results that fit real life, not a life dependent on twice-a-week treatments. The goal is for you to spend the least amount of time in his office so that you can get the most out of your life.
